Description of Seymour Duncan DTAR Soundspot Violion

SoundSpots are ultra-sensitive specialized transducers designed to amplify many types of instruments that never had dedicated pickups. These natural and warm-sounding pickups are ground to thin tolerances creating a very thin and sensitive surface capable of sensing every facet of your performance.

The Violin SoundSpot uses 3 transducers to ‘listen’ to the violin in 3 different places. Unlike other "dot-type" pickups (transducers), each soundspot is hand ground to extremely fine tolerances, creating an ultra-sensitive transducer for a fuller, more natural sound. The Violin Soundspot is recommended for use with all violin types. Three pickups are included for placement under each bridge foot and one in the bridge's "heart" cutout in the centre of the bridge for a more natural sound.
