Despite having the same scale length as a baritone ukulele, the Countryman U-Bass has the sound of an upright bass. Thanks to Aquila Thundergut strings, you can get double bass thump without breaking your back and renting a truck. The laminate body looks great with its white binding on the top. Countryman recommend the U-Bass as an electro acoustic instrument, sounding best plugged in to an amp or PA.
