Description of Fender Rumble 200 V3
The third generation showcases a massive leap for the Rumble Series, which, rather than just offering a mere enhancement over previous generations, has been built from the ground up, re-voicing and re-engineering the popular amp range to be lighter, louder and more powerful than ever before, whilst still offering classic Fender tone. Sporting a 15” speaker, the Fender Rumble 200 V3 Bass Guitar Combo Amplifier is a 200-watt member of the re-envisaged series.
Absolutely massive in sound, you’d be forgiven for thinking the Fender Rumble 200 V3 would immovable but the series as a whole emphasises lightness, and though large, this is no exception. It has also been built to ensure it survives, with its black vinyl covering and heavy-duty nickel corners. The speaker cover is constructed from cloth, taking the place of the previous generation’s metal grille. This has been branded with the Fender logo, which ties in nicely with the vintage-style, ivory control knobs.
With the combination of a Volume control, Three-band EQ, and a Contour switch, which turns the newly-developed overdrive circuit on (this can also be activated via a footswitch), alongside a three-button voicing palette, the Fender Rumble 200 V3 puts you in control of a wealth of tones.
