Description of Trevor James Alphasax Alto Sax Outfit (B)

The Trevor James Alphasax has been designed for children showing an interest in playing the saxophone but because of their physical size would have difficulty holding and reaching all the keys on an alto size saxophone and would have to wait to start learning. This ergonomic student saxophone has received rave reviews from saxophone teachers for its lightness and compact size which has enabled smaller players to start learning and then able to progress a lot quicker than they would have on a standard size alto saxophone.

Redesigned using the standard alto body removing or replacing difficult long finger stretches and reducing the overall weight of the saxophone by 33% makes this instrument easy and comfortable to handle. The alphasax uses familiar keywork which enables the student to work from normal Eb alto tuition books and means a smooth transition to a full size alto sax.

The Trevor James Alphasax comes with a lightweight moulded case with backpack straps making the overall instrument and case 44% lighter than a standard alto saxophone, ideal for a young student to carry.
